What is an OPTM360 study?

An OPTM360 survey is a specific type of 360‑degree feedback assessment designed to drive behavior change in leaders, not just rate or label them. It gathers feedback from multiple rater groups (manager, peers, direct reports, others) and asks them how the leader should change specific behaviors.

What makes an OPTM360 different?

OPTM360 differs from traditional 360s because it is built to change behavior fast rather than to “rate” leaders, and it strips out most of the complexity that makes classic 360s difficult. 

The OPTM360 uses a scale on a “Do Much More” to “Do Much Less” rather than a traditional performance rating.

Is an OPTM360 survey difficult to set up?

The survey is short (about 10–15 minutes), customizable to your competency model, and is meant to minimize defensive reactions while still giving very direct guidance on “what to do more/less of” as a leader.
